Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really going ahead.
